Hello all ...
I have been having my brain looked at. Some may say this is long overdue because it's clear there's a screw or two that need tightening. But in fact it has been a wonderful experience and right in line with what I have been writing these last few years about the body being a biological computer.
Two friends of mine in America, Regina and Scott Meredith, told me last summer that they had been trained in a technique called 'Brain State'. When it was explained I realised it was similar in theme to a process I had heard about many years ago, but it has been honed and perfected by a company in Phoenix, Arizona, under the name Brain State Technologies.
My friends said they had made contact with two people in England who were being trained in the technique and, as 'coincidence' would have it, they lived down the road from me here on the Isle of Wight. So off I went a week or so before Christmas to see Mariel and Davie Flannagan to start the ten sessions over two weeks to 'clear my head', or rather the electronic imbalances that all of us have.
The basis of the technique is this:
Every time we experience trauma, be it physical, mental or emotional, the brain reacts electrically and energetically. The brain, like the body-computer in general, has survival as its prime motivation and this is good because without that we would not last long.
But when that gets out of hand it can produce mental, emotional and physical problems, large and small, that Brain State is designed help the person resolve by rebalancing electrical and energetic disturbance.
The brain/body obsession with survival gives it an often distorted view of reality and one of the key consequences of this is that when it has responded to a trauma and the threat has passed it does not revert to its pre-trauma state.
The brain responds electrically, energetically and in many other ways to physical, mental and emotional trauma and this can be seen on a computer screen in laboratory experiments. This is just as it should be because the brain needs to respond to protect itself and begin the healing process.
However, the brain/body is utterly focussed on survival and when it survives the trauma through its response to the trauma it then associates survival with that response state. Therefore, it doesn't return to its pre-trauma state and maintains the response pattern indefinitely.
In physical terms that response may have led to the inability to walk or talk and other disabilities, but it doesn't really care because survival is what it is interested in, not so much the quality of that survival.
It is the same with emotional trauma which we experience constantly to a larger or lesser extent during our lives. Each time the brain responds to the emotional charge it mostly retains that response pattern.
So we are all carrying old reaction neuron-networks that are the result of old traumas because, while the experience may have passed, the brain's reaction to that experience is still there.
If it was a physical trauma the reaction state may be causing continuing disablement in limbs or elsewhere which could be removed or at least eased if the brain would revert to its pre-reaction state.
Once again it is the same with emotions. When the brain has reacted to meet an emotional challenge we would be fine if it just returned to its former state when the challenge has been dealt with. But it doesn't. It associates its reaction to the challenge with surviving the challenge and so it stays that way because that reaction state = survival in its reality.
The brain's 'philosophy' can be summed up thus: If fighting or running in the face of danger has ensured you have survived a threat then keep fighting and running even though the threat has passed.
What this means, however, is that these 'reaction networks' in the brain go on filtering and observing reality indefinitely and can fundamentally distort the way we see ourselves and our experiences. It is like clouding the lens through which we observe life.
This can lead to people overreacting to danger or stress because that reaction is being channelled through all those reaction networks created by the response to earlier danger or stress. It can be like the brain's equivalent of sending in a Swat Team to deal with a speeding ticket.
The Brain State system is designed to help people disperse these redundant response networks and return the brain to balance. It does this by reminding the brain about its own state of being by playing itself back to itself using sound.
On the first session your brain pattern is recorded on a computer and the imbalances read by the practitioner. These patterns are then assessed and turned into sound that is played back to the brain through earphones. It is like holding a mirror to the brain and saying 'Look, remember what you look like?'
The brain then recognises what is useful and what is now surplus to requirements and disperses the old response networks to transform itself into a more balanced state. It is like rebooting or defragmenting a computer.
I had ten sessions which ended last week and I can only say that I found it a tremendous experience. Each session lasts about two hours and is broken up into different sequences that target different imbalances and areas of the brain.
In the earlier sessions there was little difference while it was happening, but significant changes took place between sessions. This is because the technique triggers the brain into action and it can take a little time before it has turned that into a different state by creating new neuron networks.
After about six sessions I had a deep experience while using the technology that I can only describe as like waters breaking or density dispersing, and from then on there were big changes happening during the actual sessions.
To me it felt like great weights falling from my shoulders and my head lost all sense of density. It feels light, almost weightless, and the constant brain-chatter has calmed down considerably. It's like my brain has gone 'Hey, chill out, man'.
The challenges I face are the same, but the way I observe them has changed. Things don't get to me like before and I feel even more connected to 'out there', my infinite consciousness, because, well, I am.
Our consciousness expresses itself in this reality through the body computer and if that is full of imbalances and short-circuits caused by the brain/body reaction networks and other sources of disharmony it is not going to be able to transfer its true nature into this reality through the body computer. It is going to be edited on the way by the neuron-reality filters.
You can be the most brilliant computer operator on the planet, but if your computer is not working as it should you are not going to be able to express your full potential.
Something else that I found fascinating was how I drifted into my 'comas' during the sessions - what I call my 'beyond sleep' states. I have been having them since my awakening experiences in Peru in 1991 and they have been getting more frequent during my present transformation - the removal of more energetic onion skins - that began last summer.
As I have said many times over the years I have always had the strong feeling when I slowly emerge from these 'comas' that in some way I have been downloading information from other dimensions of reality. Of course, I had no proof of this, it is just a very tangible 'knowing'.
But from the early sessions Mariel Flannagan said she was finding some interesting and unusual brain activity when I went to sleep. The electrical response was exactly what you would expect as I fell asleep, but then, once I was in dreamland, there was a sudden outbreak of brain activity that you would not expect in the sleep state.
This always seemed to coincide with what I was experiencing as a coma state and certainly fitted with my 'download' feelings over the last 17 years.
I also had photographs taken before, during and after the sessions so they could be seen by a friend who can read the auric field even on photographs. There were definite and clear changes in the auric colours as a result of the sessions and interestingly whenever a picture was taken during a 'coma' she saw the same 'rainbow' colour spectrum around me, which wasn't there in the non-coma state.
I have certainly had a fascinating few weeks, not only in terms of the effect on me, but also in confirming many things that have been bubbling in my mind for a while.
Brain State Technology is being used to help people overcome a vast range of problems, including alcohol, drug and other addictions, brain injury, depression, dementia, eating disorders, anxiety, Attention Deficit Disorder, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, panic attacks, sleep disorders and so much more.
Mariel and Davie Flannagan have introduced me to two other techniques that are very much related to the Brain State principles, although not directly connected.
One is to record your voice through a computer which produces a 'voice graph' that can be read by those trained to do so. It goes under the name of 'VoiceBio'.
The body is a hologram and, like all holograms, every part of the body is a smaller version of the whole, or a mirror of the whole. This is why you can treat a point on the foot and affect the heart, kidneys or whatever. Affect the microcosm and you affect the macrocosm because one is a smaller and connected version of the other.
The principle behind VoiceBio is that you see from the voice print how the imbalances in the sound of the voice are expressions of imbalances in the mind/body hologram. This includes any lack of nutrients that the voice pattern reveals.
Harmony is restored by playing balanced versions of the lower notes or tones found in the voice pattern through earphones to the brain to restore vibrational balance and by the relevant nutrition.
I have only just started with that so I'll have to let you know how it goes in a few weeks, but another treatment I have been experiencing since November I can certainly recommend immediately because it's had a terrific effect on me and other members of my family.
Davie Flannagan is also trained in something called Body Stress Release, a technique that comes out of South Africa. Once again it is based on giving the brain a nudge and saying 'Hey, remember this?'
Stress and trauma come thick and fast in this crazy world and one way the brain/body deals with it is to store that energy in the muscles. The stress/trauma energetic state is very low-vibrational and dense and this can lead to muscular stiffness and pain. The density also leads to people under stress saying that they feel 'heavy'.
Body Stress Release stimulates the muscles, especially the small muscles along the spine where so much stress is stored, and in doing so reminds the brain that the stress is stored there. 'Oh yes', it says, 'I remember now', and it begins to release it.
I have had decades of problems with a stiff neck and shoulders, much of it the effect of being dropped on my back at the age of eleven from quite a height which has caused my spine to bend in the middle of my shoulder blades. But after experiencing Body Stress Release there has been an obvious improvement. Everything's much looser.
What's extraordinary is how quick the sessions are and how little seems to be done, yet clear changes take place almost immediately. The first time I had it done it was almost as if nothing had happened and yet within hours my neck, spine and hips were aching and stiff - exactly what Davie Flannagan said was likely.
This reaction is caused by the body beginning to focus on the stress storage and let it go. Over the days that followed, and a few further sessions, the tension not only reduced in my physical body, but in my emotions also.
The tension in the body is stored emotion and this, too, acts like a filter which colours the way we see and experience the world.
We are facing so many challenges to our freedom on one level, but it is also such a wonderful time of awakening as we begin to understand - remember - the nature of who we are and the reality we are experiencing.
As we do so, that understanding is bringing us incredible and gathering potential to rid the world of the mental, emotional and physical ills and imbalances that have plagued this planet for so long.
And we've seen nothing yet.
