A holistic approach to transforming your well-being

An active interplay exists between our physical health and mind.  However, when many people try to improve their health, they focus solely on the physical body and its various symptoms. The mind and its thoughts are often not seen as a contributing factor to overall well-being, and often they are ignored completely.

While making changes to diet, improving nutritional intake or receiving biofeedback, etc. can be extremely beneficial for improving one’s health, our overall well-being is more than just the sum of these particular parts, and requires attention to the underlying structure of how a person relates to and experiences life itself. Physical health or biology is directly related to our psychology and state of mind.  Although we consider these elements at times to be separate they are intimately connected and actually operate as one whole.

The state of our well-being then is in part a result of the nature of our mind, our thoughts and the choices we make. If this is true then it becomes imperative that in the same way we nurture our physical health through proper diet, nutrition, exercise, etc., that we take time to inquire into how our mind works.  Meditation helps move a person in this direction, but like anything else, it has its limitations.  Before we can actually quiet the mind we have to become aware of its contents.  If we can begin to understand the nature of the mind and how we think, through contemplation and inquiry, then the potential exists that we can make new choices, which lead to a reduction in entropy (stress/chaos/disorder) and an increased sense of well-being and health. Reducing entropy is both a physical as well as psychological process.

To do this, one must begin a process of discovery into the nature of the mind and its limitations. Often, the process begins with a sense of dissatisfaction in one’s experience of life, which can lead that person to question what he or she has believed to be true. This is an important moment, and it may be the start of a profound transformational process, where transformation is seen as a movement toward a new way of being and experiencing.

My intent is to assist a person in this process of discovery and in a movement toward increasing the quality of one’s consciousness. The benefits of this work extend beyond one’s physical health but into each aspect of life since no part of our lives are separate from another part.

“No problem can be solved from the same level of consciousness that created it.”

~Albert Einstein

The tools I use will address the whole mind-body equation. The combination of a Hair Mineral Analysis and a complete Nutritional Balancing protocol address the health of the physical body along with lifestyle changes, while Neurofeedback and/or Spiritual Counseling support the brain, mind and thinking process. This integrative approach will act as a catalyst to a greater sense of well-being and joy in living.

If you have reached a point where what you have been doing is no longer working for you and you are starting to ask questions to discover a new way of living in the world, then you are in the right place. If you feel blocked with your physical health or stuck in your thinking processes, then you’re in the right place.

I look forward to working with you. Please contact me for an appointment, or call with questions.

Wishing you good health

BODY

My approach to diet and nutrition emphasizes more than just the foods we eat. To feed our brains and bodies holistically, we must move towards a healthier, more integrated state. This can be accomplished through your body's natural abilities to self-regulate.
